Company History

A & H Roofing has been in business since February 1998, and we are proud to say we have over 30 years of experience in the roofing and gutter industry.

Founders Mike Aberle and Tom Herman both have a long history in roofing prior to starting A & H Roofing. Tom Herman comes from a long line of family owned roofing businesses. His father and all of his father’s brothers have owned their own roofing companies for years. You could say he grew up in the business.

Mike Aberle and Tom were high school friends. They worked together during summer breaks throughout high school and college for Tom’s father’s roofing company. “We work so well together, that after completing school, starting a business together just seemed like the right thing to do.”

We Are Different From the Competition

Quality Control. We have our own in-house inspector for quality control and the City and County inspector to insure the best quality job. As a smaller oriented business, all our crew leaders have been with the company for a minimum of five years. This guarantees quality of installation and assures that employees are not being trained on the job. We do not hire new installers when busy – we keep the same quality installers busy and loyal all year long.

Safety. We are committed to quality and safety: all of our safety training, contracting and consulting is done through Lancaster Safety Consulting.

Customer Service

Throughout our years in business, customer service has been, and is, our number one priority. We are a home town business with expectations of the highest quality and workmanship on all of our projects. All of our employees and customers are like family to us. As a family, we instill in our employees that quality is the most important part of any job. Because we are like a family, everyone working for us has been with us for a minimum of five years.

Continued Training. We are continually striving to learn more about the roofing trade, techniques, and technologies by attending training courses through the Colorado Roofing Association, Air Vent Seminar, and other organizations such as Lancaster Safety.

Community Involvement  

A & H Roofing is a proud contributor to many charities such as Coats for Children, Toys for Tots, and we donate a portion of all profits to a number of local charities in the Denver metro area. Included in this list are: Focus On The Family, Prison Fellowship, and Denver Rescue Mission. We also provide church discounts and occassional free church repairs (when budgets allow). Not only do we provide a professional service, but we also give back to the community as much as we possibly can.
